Terms of Service

The Ecology Club Web Site is dedicated to promoting student involvement, collaboration and research as related to environmental concerns. As such we feel that it's essential to strictly maintain the following terms of service so we may become, and remain, a conduit for committed students of various backgrounds, viewpoints and experiences.

All users must attest that they have read, and accept all of the following terms. Violations may result in the immediate suspension of your user account and loss of all privileges.

• All content must be directly related to ecology and the environment.
• All content must be "family friendly" and written so as not to offend the sensibilities of a younger audience.
• All content must be original. Plagiarism and/or paraphrasing is not permissible.
• When other sources are utilized, permission must be granted and the content appropriately cited.
• References to specific student contact information or their identity is expressly forbidden. Student names, addresses, email addresses or phone numbers will not be displayed by The Ecology Club Web Site, and should not be referenced in any fashion in posts or comments.
• All content, and approved comments, are the sole responsibility of the user. The Ecology Club cannot be held liable for any claims resulting from the posts or approved comments of the user.
• There shall be no derogatory references to religion, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation or social groups in content, links or approved comments.
• There shall be no derogatory references to specific educators, administrators or politicians. Please feel free to talk about the issues specifically, but leave out any personal or overtly political agenda.
• Users are encouraged to link to their favorite resources as they relate to ecology. Unrelated links or links to social networking sites will be deleted. Repeated offenses will result in the forfeiture of your account.
