A: No, although the site is designed primarily for students we welcome other ecologically minded individuals to participate if they feel that their contributions would edify our target audience.

A: All comments must be approved by the actual Ecology Club member before they are posted. Some members may take more time than others in reviewing their comments and they are under no obligation to approve comments that they feel are inappropriate for the site or the post.

A: On the log in screen there is a link where you may enter your user name (the name of your blog) to have your password sent to the email associated with your account.

A: The most popular blogs are determined by the overall number of visitor comments for each user.

A: No, there should be only one user for each blog although you are free to set up as many categories as you like.

A: No, our service is totally free, we just hope to advance the cause of our young people and their planet.

A: Just visit the "Register" page and fill out the form after reading and agreeing to our terms of service.

A: First of all, participate. If you choose create an account please take a moment to visit users pages and leave a positive comment when appropriate. Q. Must we know HTML to format our content or add images?
A: No, we use a rich text editor that allows you to format your content as you would in Microsoft Word ™ or to paste your content directly from a Word document.

Q. Can we upload images to the server to display in our posts?
A: Yes, feel free to upload appropriate images that are not copyright protected for your profile, the header image of your blog and for use in your content. We do have an upload manager that will guide you through the process and make uploading your images a snap.

Q. Why are we directed to enter a school code when registering?
A: Please feel free to ignore this field. We included it as we hope that as the web site develops www.EcologyClub.org will be able to assist school based ecology clubs in generating revenue, increasing their membership and promoting their agenda. We also expect that it may assist students who are seeking classroom credit for the documentation of their projects here.

Q. Is there any age restriction for participation?
A: Although we have no explicit age restriction we do recommend that participating students be of at least middle school age and require that children under the age of 13 have a written parental consent form on file.
